No guessing. Just living it.
Before saltgood ever became a product, it was a question: what does our body actually need to hydrate well? We spent years answering it — drinking our own salt water, consulting with health experts, testing water sources, and cutting out everything that wasn't essential.
Northern Spring Water
The Source
Health experts told us the same thing: the best way to hydrate your cells starts with spring water from a northern source — further from contamination, and naturally alkaline. Ours comes from Eastern Ontario, at a natural pH of 7.7 a water your body can actually absorb.
Antarctic Sea Salt
The Salt
The purest sea salt we could find, anywhere. Antarctic sea salt naturally filtered through kilometres of compressed seashells at a deep coastal aquifer in South Africa, then hand-harvested and hand-sieved — no machines, no shortcuts, no contamination, no microplastics.
Infinitely recyclable & BPA Free
The Can
BPA-free aluminum, digitally printed ink-to-can — no plastic sleeves, no shrink wrap, no labels. Just infinitely recyclable metal.

Hydration got complicated. We think that's the problem.
Most products today are built around flavour, branding, and buzzwords — not what your body actually needs. If you've ever read a label and wondered why there are so many ingredients just to quench your thirst, then saltgood is for you.
Simple, on Purpose.
Choose your day
saltgood for the everyday. saltgood+ for the days you push harder.
Drink Clean
No flavors, no fillers — just spring sourced water and sea salt.
Feel it
Proper hydration at the cellular level, the way God made it.
Two ingredients
Nothing more.
Same water. Same salt. Same commitment to nothing extra.
The only difference is how much sodium your day actually needs.
For Daily Hydration
100mg sodium. Naturally alkaline spring water, minimally processed Antarctic Ocean sea salt. Built for the every day — mornings, meetings, the hundred small moments that add up to a life. Now shipping.
For Active Days
300mg sodium. Same spring water, same sea salt — just more of what your body needs when you're pushing harder. Built for training days, long hikes, and mornings that start before the sun does. Now shipping.
Not sure which one? Get both.
One for every day, one for the days you push harder — the full saltgood lineup, together.
Started by two guys who wanted better everyday hydration.
We didn't set out to build a water brand.
We created saltgood because it matches how we actually live. We wake up early. We train hard. We show up strong for our wives, our kids, and each other — and we put salt in our drinking water. Like everything we put in our bodies, we're intentional about why we do it, when we do it, and where it comes from.
So we went looking for the simplest answer. Naturally alkaline spring water from a northern source led us to the Lanark Highlands. Third-party tested salt for heavy metals and microplastics led us to Antarctic Ocean sea salt.
No flavours. No fillers. Nothing unnecessary for everyday hydration.
We built saltgood the same way we try to build everything else — our faith, our families, our businesses, our health. Fully committed, no details overlooked, and never settling for less.
Two families, one belief: hydrate simply, live fully.
— Tim & Adam
Faith. Family. Fitness. Work. Community.
We built Saltgood around the things we refuse to compromise on. We think you might feel the same.
Faith
The foundation everything else is built on.
Family
The reason we get up early and go after it.
Fitness
Required to take care of everyone who depends on you.
Work
How we provide, and make a difference.
Community
None of this means much if we're not doing it together.
Questions, answered simply.
Two ingredients: naturally alkaline spring water from a northern spring, and Antarctic Ocean sea salt, sourced from a deep coastal aquifer in South Africa. No flavors, no fillers, no carbonation.
Sodium is an essential electrolyte your body needs to hydrate properly at the cellular level — not just water, but water your cells can actually use. saltgood carries 100mg for everyday hydration; saltgood+ carries 300mg for active days when you're sweating more and need more.
Same spring water, same sea salt — the only difference is sodium level. saltgood (100mg) is built for daily hydration; saltgood+ (300mg) is built for training days, long hikes, and mornings that start before the sun does.
On average, adult women lose about 3,000mg of sodium a day and adult men lose about 4,200mg — more if you're active or sweating. Most people don't need to restrict sodium as much as older guidelines suggest, and there's real, ongoing research on this. saltgood's 100mg (or saltgood+'s 300mg) is a small fraction of typical daily losses. That said, if you're managing a specific health condition, check with your doctor about what's right for you.
saltgood and saltgood+ are currently available and shipping! You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking as soon as your order is fulfilled and ready to ship out (usually within 1-2 business days)
